Type Comparison

Rockwell v. Times New Roman

The most obvious difference between these two is that Rockwell is a slab serif while Times N. R. is not. Times N. R. has a wide variety of modulation in its letters while Rockwell has one thickness across the board. Rockwell tends to have a circular curvature whenever it has curves while Times N. R. is more ovular.
